Poured Out releases May 4th! 2 Free Downloads NOW

Great news everyone!

The wait is almost over. The new live worship record, Poured Out – One Night in Kentucky is finally set to release next Tuesday May 4th!

We have worked really hard to get this right. This music/live performance represents more than just a collection of live worship songs. It represents the heart of who we are as a band, our roots in worship in its most basic form, and our desire to connect with our Creator in deeper and more intimate ways.

While we definitely do not think that what the world needs is another worship CD, we believe this project is important for us to stop at this point in our journey and simply worship. (with about a thousand of our best friends, at that!)

We hope this record is more than an exercise in “reliving” a worship experience. We believe that one of our faults as believers is to pray and ask God to replicate a previous awesome mountaintop experience. You know, kind of like praying “God, remember how you moved at the Lexington show last fall? Could you do that again tonight?” We’re convicted that this mentality may reduce what God truly can and wants to do. Instead, we pray that God finds us right where we are… right at this moment… whether that be happy, blissful, and rejoicing or destroyed, broken, and sorrowful… and moves in ways unimaginable, outside of our preconceived ideas of worship. Our greatest hope for this record is that God may use it as a tool for doing just that.

Help the people of Haiti

We are all aware of the tragic earthquake that has devastated the country of Haiti.  A terrific organization with which we work with closely, Compassion International, is mobilizing relief efforts and are on the ground in Haiti  assisting in disater relief as I write this.

They have set up a disaster relief fund and I encourage you to give whatever you can monitarily and also lift up all the people of Haiti and relief workers in your prayers.
